Remanufacturing is the industrialization of repairing and reconstructing waste products involved in high technology; it is to the benefit of using renewable resources and an important way to promote conservation of energy and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, China has entered the automotive community and it is an important to effectively make good use of scrap car recycling of renewable resources, it also can relieve the pressure of environmental, ecological and resource caused by scraped car.But now the development of Chinese automotive remanufacturing reverse logistics is still in the initial stage and has a variety of problems in improving the reverse logistics network. So in this paper we study on construction on reverse logistics network of end-of-life vehicles remanufacturing and will provide the necessary theoretical guidance.Currently it primarily includes engine, starter, clutch, steering box and so on in automotive remanufacturing industry. Auto parts recycling and remanufacturing need a series of logistics processes that go through from the source of recycling center, to recycling center, then to dismantling centre and to remanufacturing plants (original manufacturer) at last.Based on research achievements about the design of reverse logistics network at home and abroad, we build a model of automotive remanufacturing reverse logistics network with four-tier facilities. With a series of constraints, find the best options from the different combination of the four-tier facilities, to minimize the total cost of logistics system and to complete the optimization of the logistics network. In this paper, model is built using mixed integer linear programming (MILP) based on the third-party logistics network of multi-level open-loop with one single product, and is solved with optimization software LINGO 11.0 and obtains optimal solution and the results of sensitivity analysis. So we can get the number and scale of the facilities (the source of recycling center, recycling center, dismantling centre and remanufacturing plants) in the network. Optimization of automotive remanufacturing reverse logistics network is completed and it provides the necessary information and guidance of designing the remanufacturing reverse logistics network for Chinese companies and governments.
