Creative Talent Competency Model Building And Its Applications

Following the agricultural economy, industrial economy, the world ushered in the era of creative economy. Creative industries as a new industry have made a great contribution to the development of national economies. In recent years, creative industries achieved great success as a rising star in our country. But, due to the traditional industrial development model and the inadequate supply of creative talents, the development of creative industries is relatively backward, compared with the developed countries'. The scarcity of creative talent has become a major obstacle to the development of creative industries. Thousands of creative professionals graduated from school every year. However, the demand for creative talent is becoming increasingly tense. In this context, we try to find the competence of creative talent, which produce high performance and remove the barriers for the development of creative industries.In the paper, creative talents are the object of this study. This paper has developed a competency model of creative talents, through questionnaires and other research methods. Through empirical research, we draw the following conclusions: we can predict creative talents'future level of performance by the competency model of creative talents; there are some differences between the competency of creative talents, who have different gender, age and academic background; the competency model of creative talents made a convenient for the management of the creative talents, as a Modern HRM tools.This paper will have important theoretical and practical significance for the creative talents'cultivation, development, management and the elevation of the creative enterprises'core competitiveness.
