The Research On Production Efficiency Of Agricultural Product Processing Industry

On the basis of the development of Henan's agricultural product processing industries, combined with the relevant research results of domestic and foreignscholars, the article uses efficiency measurement theory empirical analyses the efficiency of Productprocessing industries by choosing panel data of Henan's Agricultural Product processing industries. With Malmquist index, the article calculate the TE PE SE and the rate of change of TFP and the combinations from 1993 to 2009 of Agricultural Product processing industries, and analyses the influence of PTE based on the Tobit model. The conclusions are as follows:(1)In sumly, the efficiency (TE PE SE)of Henan agricultural product processing industries is well based on CRS and VRS. TFP of Henan agricultural product processing industries overall declined. In year 1993-2009, Henan agricultural product processing total factor productivity and Tech fell 4.3%, the technology efficiency and it's constitutes has nothing changes. Therefore henan agricultural product processing overall total factor productivity decline is mainly attributed to the progress of technology changes(2) From the view of very industry, The efficiency, such as TE PE SE, have a enormous difference. Except for tobacco processing technology efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency was no change in the outside, other industries in different years these efficiency with different performance.In year 1993-2009 agricultural product processing various industries technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency of the mean value are tending to decline.(3) In each industry from the Angle of the scale stage, Food processing and textiles are basically in scale of diminishing returns stage. Food manufacturing, textile and apparel and footwear products industry, wood processing industry, furniture manufacturing, printing and recording media copying basically at irs using phase. The rest of the industry scale in different year pay stage in different stage.(4) From the view of the growing trend, Henan agricultural product processing besides beverage manufacturing and tobacco processing total factor productivity increases, the rest of the industry are tending to decline. Technical progress growth industry includes food processing, beverage manufacturing, tobacco processing, textiles, printing and rubber products industry. Technical efficiency and its components except for tobacco processing outside, other industries are tending to decline.(5) Influence of henan agricultural product processing technology efficiency factors is fixed assets investments, agricultural product processing industry high-tech personnel number, R&D expenditure. The number of fixed assets and high-tech negatively correlated with the technical efficiency, R&D spending positively correlated with the technical efficiency. According to the conclusion of the processing of agricultural products in henan province, and puts forward policy Suggestions to promote henan agricultural product processing total factor productivity and technical efficiency of growth.This paper the innovation points are mainly embodied in the following aspects:(1) This paper classifies henan agricultural product processing and each sub industries as the research object, using data from 1993 to 2009 for the latest data empirically. (2) This paper used in analysis method on the DEA-with two-step Tobit Malmquist index method based on DEA combination of henan province agricultural product processing and analysis to the production efficiency son line industry and its composition, production efficiency index and its composition, and use of Tobit model of henan province of farm produce processing influence factors were analyzed.
