With the great success of the application of Six Sigma in Motorola and GE, Six Sigma has been accepted as the one of the successful method to improve the competence of enterprises. At Presents, all over the world, a great number of enterprises apply Six Sigma, which has leaded to the success, and in China, Six Sigma Was not recognized and accepted until 1990s. Now, a lot of Chinese enterprises has applied or are going to apply Six Sigma in order to improve the product and management quality to increase their competence.There are two main issues for the manufacturing enterprise, which are quality and efficiency. The application of Six Sigma can not only improve the quality of products, decrease the variation, reduce defects and increase the satisfaction and loyalty of customers, but also enjoy an unprecedented financial return. It will become a useful tool applied in improving the quality of products and technological process, productivity effect and incomings in all round way.The thesis offers a detailed analysis of the basic theories, tools and methods of Six Sigma, and DMAIC method system adopted in promoting Six Sigma. For the quality issues of hinges emerging in fridge die casting, the author introduces the course of implementing Six Sigma. First, the author screens and classifies the market quality information of die-casting hinges in CRM system. The author definite the Y in this project by applying hypothetic test, this method provides a correlation analysis of defects in the market and non-conformance in incoming quality control. Second, the analyzing stage can be divided into three parts:the collection of data, the measurement and system analysis of X, data analysis and the choice of key elements and minority. According to correlation analysis and regression analysis, the author finds X element which has an influence on Y. The third, the author formulates improvement plan and carry it out against X element, promoting permanent control and continuous improvement. At last, Six month after the implement of the project, the total income of the project is one million and sixty thousand Yuan.It is concluded that Six Sigma is the best tool to deal with the problems of manufacturing enterprise.
