Micro Blog Research

This thesis tries to analyze one of the most popular media, Micro blog, from the point of view of social space. After a careful conclusion of Micro blog 's current research status, the author chooses Sina Micro blog as the research target. By making a detailed introduction of Micro blog's basic structure and using the Henri Lefebvre's social space theory, the author discusses the three levels of social spaces which could be reflected in Sina Micro blog, and makes a discussion of the relationship from the view of social time and space. And, by analyzing the broadcasting features of Micro blog, the author also makes a detailed instruction of Micro blog's social function, as interaction and performance, consumerism, equal interpersonal instructions, and power distribution system. As for conclusion, this thesis describes the Micro blog ' s affections to the real world and the limitations for Micro blog's further development.
