In China ,car industry is developing quickly. It demands maintenance men have good skills. In our vocational schools, the fact is that there are too many students ,a few equipments and boring teaching methods . So we 'd like use virtual reality technics to assist teaching. This paper focuses on studying virtual reality technics used in vocational schools' car majors so that teachers can change the teaching models and improve teaching efficiency.Paper first home and abroad through a virtual simulation technology in the field of education, especially in the field of vocational training, the application of the literature analysis, the basic technology systems development framework. While the use of systematic work process design and development of vocational education and teaching resources ideas, through the vehicle maintenance of the work task analysis research, automotive teaching staff with the needs of vocational students to complete auto repair to adapt to the professional training platform framework. System using three-dimensional modeling techniques to complete the major components of the modeling and development of interactive features, combined with the characteristics of vocational education, design and development of the evaluation system, making it a complete auto repair virtual simulation-assisted teaching system. Finally, the system used in this unit of teaching practice, and achieved good teaching results.This paper not only proves virtual reality technics can be used in teaching practices but also expands computers' education function in car field.
