Current situation display system is self-contained. The integration and interoperability is not high. Different applications require different processing engine, and there is no uniform solution provide. The deleveloping of a unified, efficient and can be the expanded situation display architecture is to accelerating software development, design and development process, reducing maintenance and upgrade costs. At the same time, ensuring software reliability, stability, ease of use and scalability.In this article, the functional requirements and work flow of the general situation display system are studied. The role and useages in the entire command system are described. The external interfaces to the other systems are confirmed. The functions of the software are described. The requests for the the general situation display system are promoted.In this article, the construction based on Qt framework is studied. The data organization model is established. A scene-view architecture is prompted. A hierarchical classification management mechanism is constructed. The functions are divided into software modules. The relationship between the interface of each module are identified. The functions of each module are detail designed.In this article, the key technologies and key algorithms in the software construction are picked up. Optimized map display technology, multi-window display, dual-threaded dual-cache network data receiving and processing technologies, moving target indication technology and trend plotting technology are proposed. The working methods and working mode of each key technology is discussed. And the specific algorithmic process is described.Finally, the application and development prospects of the Qt-based general situation display system are presented. With the development of Qt and a growing number of companies on Qt's support in the near future, Qt will be developed as more low-level software development platforms. With the in-depth study, more applications and elements will be integrated into the Qt-based general situation display system, and the system will further expand to transportation, police, civil aviation and other fields.
