Video Surveillance System Based On IP And Itsapplication

With the rapid development of computer, network transfers and image recognition, the technology of video surveillance has become the focus recently. It has come through three generations with the 1st one of simulation system, the 2nd one of digital system and the 3rd one of network video surveillance system. It's scale is being turned into network digital surveillance platform based on MAN or Internet from the small surveillance system based on intranet. Especially, plenty of new applications have appeared after the integration of surveillance and network, such as linkage alarm, image recognition, GIS and so on.Xuzhou cantonal surveillance system, sponsored by xuzhou telecommunication company, includes about 2000 cameras and overlays the whole important roads and locations. With the principia based on IP technology, we have designed the surveillance system fits for xuzhou telecommunication and xuzhou polices by integrating the existed IP MAN characters and maintenance system in xuzhou telecommunication with the present network architecture in xuzhou police.This paper studies the correlative design ideas and implementation policies about xuzhou social surveillance system and gives some good solving methods according to the actual problem, which include the design object, principle and idea of system and the devising of city video surveillance center, front-end and profile storage. Finally, we provide the car surveillance system as a actual application in social police.Recently, this project has passed the validation and started to implement. It can overlay the whole important roads in xuzhou. Polices have solved many law cases using this surveillance system. It plays an important role in stabilizing the xuzhou society.
