Speech production and acquisition is a new important crossing point in dynamics,acoustics, mathematics and many other disciplines , it is also an important branch in the researchfield of the robot, it can help us to better understand speech, and has a very broad applicationprospects in reality. DIVA(Directions Into Velocities of Articulators) is a mathematical model whichis described the process of speech acquisition and production. Therefore, the perturbation studybased on speech production and acquisition of the DIVA model can provide some feasible basis andpromote the development for these areas.Firstly, this paper introduces domestic and international research status and the development ofthe DIVA model, and simply describes the definition of the DIVA model, including the premotorcortex speech sound map, motor cortex velocity and position maps. Secondly, it describes thetheory which is feedforward control subsystem (prediction system) and feedback control subsystem;but this model does not have all control function of neurological sense, in order to solve theseproblems. This paper adopts the strategy that feedforward control mechanism supplement feedbackcontrol mechanism. Aiming at the network state disturbance caused by parameters changes duringthe neural network learning process, this paper does related emulation experiments. Experimentalresults show that this method is effective and gives good robustness. Thirdly, the DIVA modelrobustness are discussed in the theory ,that it describes the model's robustness in the ideal conditionand the complex environment, and carries on the simulation experiment, the experimental resultsshow that DIVA model robustness can balance in several randomly selected cases. These studies aresupported by Natural Science Foundation of China,and the results are published in internationalconference of ICAR2011 and the journal of computer technology and development.Finally, the research contents are summarized, and it points out the direction of futureresearch, and develops ideas for further.
