In the mobile communication network,the main body is in the complete network coverage provided by macro-cell base station system. However, it is not the best idea of using only base station network coverage in the viewpoint of investment and construction cycle. Repeaters have a larger advantage over others in extending coverage and solving the contradiction among network capacity, network coverage and investment.Repeater is designed for the extension of network coverage,mainly in the microwave,GSM(Global System For Mobile Communication),CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access),WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) and TD-SCDMA(Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access). It is used to solve the coverage problem in low-traffic areas (such as the isolated towns, highways, tourist spots, etc.), and the partial coverage in shadow regions caused by topography and surface features.However,repeaters will bring interference , time delay and other influences to the network because of its own characteristics. It will also have a negative impact on communication network due to improper application of repeater and technical defects.This paper attempts to study the hybrid network technology of CDMA repeaters and base station. Firstly, it has given a detailed introduction about application methods of repeaters and influence to the base station on the basis of fundamental theories. Then, according to backstage statistics and outdoor signal test data, it has particularly analyzed the influence to the base station when repeaters give out noises in CDMA network in the engineering practice level. At the same time, it has also researched the influence of time delay caused by repeaters to search window and other network parameters.
