Design And Implementation Of Web Collaborative Learning Platform Based On SNS

As the learning model strongly advocated in China's new curriculum reform, collaborative learning is a very important way to cultivate students'teamwork spirit and communication skill, to develop their creative and critical thinking, to stimulate their desire of research and quest, to promote their comprehensive quality and to cultivate innovative talents. At present, collaborative learning has been widely recognized by many education and research institutes, teachers and students and parents.With the further development of the society informatization, all kinds of digital learning models such as e-learning have been emerging around us and even have been changing our way of work, learning and life. The application of the interactive web, featured by"users creating, content sharing and opinion interaction", based on Social Networking Services ( a internet application services aiming at helping people to set up social network ) and Six Degrees of Separation, and characterized by breaking through the virtuality of traditional network media and the limitation of single information source, recovering the features of interpersonal information communication such as mutual equality, reality pursuing, multilateral interaction and immediate feedback, is affecting and changing the knowledge management pattern and collaborative working mode of both individuals and organizations.The collaborative learning platform on the affiliated high school of Peking University's network is based on the sharing of the SNS in both collaborative learning and knowledge to study the application of the SNS in the process of educational management and collaborative learning. From the angle of setting up collaborative community, building knowledge centers, designing evaluation system and implementing performance appraisal, the collaborative learning platform on the affiliated high school of Peking University's network becomes a WebCL based on the SNS. It makes man-machine interaction more fluently through the application of AJAX technology and expands the application of the wireless network through China's telecom Web Service communication middleware technology.Meanwhile, by means of analysing the application case of this platform in the education group of affiliated high school of Peking University and more than 20,000 brother school students, we evaluate the application effect this WebCL has had on learners'learning performance and comprehensive quality.
