Web page plays a more and more important role in our life, but it is in a relatively open environment, that makes it under the danger of being tampered with. So it is a very crash issue to protect web page from being tampered with.Firstly the stern condition of the web page security and the important significance of web page tamper-proof are introduced in this paper. Then some methods and a summary of current research based on watermarking for web page tamper-proof at home and abroad are introduced. At last the author introduces the main research work.The main work is in the below which includes:1) The web page tamper-proof methods based on watermarking in recent years and some webpage steganographic technology are introduced. Then a web page information hidden method based on HTML encoding is proposed. This method uses the different forms of HTML encoding and the locations of the letters to embed the information. And then a fragile watermarking scheme based on the locations of the letters in the tags is proposed. Firstly the watermark is converted to a binary sequence. Then the md5value of the webpage content as a seed of pseudo random function is used to generate the sequence of locations. At last, the watermark information is embedded into the letters of the tags according to the sequence of locations. The experiment result shows that this scheme can judge whether the web page is tempered with by extracted watermark.2) The basic principle of web page temper-proof methods based on digital watermarking is introduced. Then a watermarking algorithm which can locate the modifications to the web page and authenticate the owner is proposed. This method uses an image for authentication. Firstly an image is scrambled and classified. At the same time, the web page is classified. Then the image and the web page classified are used to generate the watermark. At last, the watermark is embedded into the web page. When the web page is tempered with, the extracted watermark can locate the modifications, and the information of image in the watermark can be for authentication. The experiment shows that this scheme realizes the two well.3) Most of watermarking schemes for tamper-proof of web page cannot locate the modifications. The methods which can locate modifications expand the size of the webpage. So a scheme for the webpage's temper-proof on Bloom Filter, which can locate the modifications, is proposed. Firstly the web page is classified, secondly the Hash code is generated through the Bloom Filter. When the web page is tested, the scheme uses Hash code to locate the modifications. This scheme only needs to save the Hash code without dealing with the webpage. The result of experiment shows that this scheme can locate the modifications accurately.
