In resent times, the phased array antenna, as the important branch of the scanning electron antenna, is developing toward the shaped capacity of adaptive antenna beamforming. In the case of beam controlling the computer, illumination function of antenna aperture corresponding to the antenna pattern is available throuth changing the ralationship of the phase and amplitude among the antenna element, and change the pointing and shape of the antenna beam rapidly. The core foundation of achieving this function is a set of amplitude/phase-weighted network. During the initial development of the weighted networks, semiconductor switches, phase shifters are used. With increase of the distance of the effect from the antenna and increasing need of electronic countermeasures, the power capacity increases, the weighted network whose main part is the semiconductor becomes the bottleneck constraining enhancement of the capacity.On the other hand, microwave gyromagnetic ferrite material as a special functional materials, has been widely used for a long time, especially the use made of its gyromagnetic properties of microwave ferrite circulator, etc. While relying on the remanence properties of ferrite materials development phase shifter, because of its higher operating frequency, power capacity, fast switching speed and low loss characteristics, is becoming a high-frequency, high power applications under the new favorite of condition .Therefore developing an amplitude/phase weighing device composed of ferrite power dividing/phase shifting element to implement adaptive phased array antenna will solve the above bottlenecks at higher frequencies and power conditions.In this paper, an 8-way power divider / phase shifter network module is proposed for technical verification. Starting with the ferrite phase shifters and the use of phase shifters consisting of differential phase-shift of the basic theory of power divider, modeling and simulating the ferrite phase shifter / splitter, different pros and cons of structural phase shifters were analyzed. The drive circuit accuracy, stability, compensatory, interference and other aspects were analyzed to find a suitable ferrite phase shifter/power splitter device drive circuit design. By decomposition of differentiation, a centralized control unit was established to realize amplitude portfolio weighting.Thus we get an 8 piece/phase independent weighted, multi-computer programming controlled sub-phase network fabric. The module has a fast and flexible mode to control, excellent electrical properties of microwave, high power capacity, and flexible and efficient maintenance and upgrade capability. So that it can be generalized to high-power X-band and higher band phased array antenna (PPA) of the output feeder subsystem, as a variety of electronic scanning antennae offers flexible microwave amplitude/phase modulation unit.
