Among the existeing education soft, "Geometer's Sketchpad" was widely popular in china. Now,intelligent educational software platform produced by academician Zhang occupied more dominant status. At present, the main function of educational software includes dynamic geometry, dynamic measurement and so on.Geometry Resources have many geometry pictures, but those pictures cannot help teacher to teach geometry well, because translating pictures to dynamic geometry needs lots of time. If those pictures are translated to dynamic geometry automatically, Geometry Resources can apply better server to teacher.The content of this paper:The first chapter: Introduction. This chapter analyzes current situation of research , introduces the content of research and problems of research.The second chapter: Methods of Recognition of Geometric Elements. This chapter introduces popular methods for geometric elements, for example Hough transform, Freeman Chain Code, Primitive Region, Ambiguity domain, Least squares. this chapter chose method of Recognition of Geometric Elements .The third chapter: Pretreatment for Geometric Picture. The system deal with Geometric Picture because Those Pictures aren't good enough to recognize geometric elements. Firstly, this paper introduces how to gray image, how to binary image and how to refine image. Finally, this paper design new methods called Binary Based on OSTU to binary image.The forth chapter: Design of System on Recognition of Geometric Picture. This chapter design system on recognition of geometric picture to recognize geometric picture and to judge the relation between geometric elements. And this system can deal with geometric vector graphics. The system discusses methods of judgment on relation between geometric elements for recognition system; this paper takes Parallel, Vertical, relation between line and circle, relation between circles for example.
