In recent years, Apple Inc introduced the iPhone smart phone that has gotten a great success. The most important fact of the success is the mobile value-added service software of iPhone. Such mobile value-added service software is operated and developed by a particular way that is created by Apple Inc. This approach that is good for developers has attracted many people to become developers of iPhone application software. Today, the iPhone software covers all aspects of users in life, working and learning. The market of iPhone mobile value-added service software is huge with a good prospect. The development technology of iPhone application software becomes hot and emerging in field of mobile development.This thesis researches and studies the development technology of iPhone mobile value-added service software to develop the software that is used in point to point communication. It analyses the market conditions and developments of iPhone mobile value-added service software. This thesis researches the business model of iPhone mobile value-added service software and introduces entire process of this software development. It studies the architectural mechanism and runtime environment of Mac OS X and iOS operation system, researches the contents and methods of Cocoa framework which is the core in iPhone software development technology, and shows how to build development environment and use development tools in detail. The thesis accomplished the software, which is designed with the principles of iPhone mobile value-added service software development, communicates from one iPhone to other iPhone in Wi-Fi, GPRS, or Bluetooth network, and transmits the data of text, voice and file. The thesis introduces the project design, UI design, and code design of this software, explains its key technology roundly, and researches the technologies of network development, media application, multi-views operation, events handling, and multithread management in this software development work sufficiently. At last, this thesis shows the debugging and distribution methods of iPhone software.This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter introduces the significance and prospect of the development technology of iPhone mobile value-added service software. The second chapter expounds the iPhone mobile phone and iPhone mobile value-added service software. The third chapter analyses the development environment of iPhone mobile value-added service software and shows the methods of setting development tool. The fourth chapter summarizes the design scheme of this iPhone software. The fifth chapter studies the key technologies and ways to accomplish this software. The sixth chapter gives an account of methods that can be used to debugging and distributing iPhone software. The last chapter is the conclusion of this thesis, which summarizes the work and result in this research.In this research, thesis finished software that meets user's need and introduced correlation technique. Its result contributes to research of iOS development.
