Two-dimensional barcode technology is one of the new technologies of information storage and transmission. Combining 2D bar code technology with Digital Watermarking technology can make the using of 2D bar code technology has an application on security and anti-tampering better, and more widely applicable to various areas. With the modern economy and society develops, more and more areas that require data security, carriage and transmission, China will become a big consuming country of 2D bar code products. Therefore, the development of the 2D bar code system of Digital Watermarking with quick recognition and strong safety and reliability is important.The following aspects of work were done in this thesis:First of all, according to the requirements of the project design, develop EP2C70F896C6 chip-based 2D bar code system of Digital Watermark hardware modules. Secondly, collect the two-dimensional bar code images using the SPI mode-based SD card, and use MATLAB for researching the algorithm of the Digital Watermark embedding and extraction and displaying the watermark bar code images. Once again, transplant the Digital Watermarking bar code algorithms that are verified on the PC machine for the special hardware architecture of SOPC technology, and achieve and test it through programming in Nios II IDE to achieve the embedding and extraction watermark functions of the 2D bar code. Finally, through the VGA interface display the original 2D bar code, the images of embedding watermark bar code and extraction watermark bar code. Because the code inside the chip On-chip Memory performs faster, part of the core code will be loaded into the On-chip Memory chip when it is running, thus greatly improving the speed of the watermark embedding and extraction.After four attacks experiments of the print scan, defaced, print scan and stained double attack, and local large stained and extraction rate analysis of bar code, the results show that: various parts of the system work properly, the watermark bar has the higher extraction rate and the robustness. It achieves the expected design requirements and completes the basic research and exploratory work for the further developments and design of Digital Watermarking bar code system.
