Sequences in signal designs and cryptography with vast application, this thesis research in low correlation and high linear complexity sequences. The contents included are as follows.1. Several classes of balanced quaternary sequences of period p are constructed by using inverse Gray mapping and binary sequences with three autocorrelation values. And the other several classes of quaternary sequences over Zpq of length pq are constructed by using inverse Gray mapping and generalized cyclotomic sequences pairs. The maximum nontrivial autocorrelations of the constructed sequences are showed to be (?) or 3.2. A class of generalized cyclotomic sequence of order 2 and period pq with high linear complexity is generalized, construction arbitrary prime order and pe-riod pq generalized cyclotomic sequence, the autocorrelation distribution and linear complexity of the proposed sequence are presented.3. A classe of M-ary sequence set over Zpq of period pq is constructed by using power residue sequences over Zp and Zq, The maximum correlation is shown to be (?)+2(?)+2(?)+4, which is closed to Welch bound.
