The paper introduces the conception of cloud computing and cloud storage anddiscusses previous works on cloud storage security. Having analyzed the shortage ofdata integrity detection in cloud storage system, a cloud data integrality detection modelIDBRS (Integrality Detection Based on Reed-Solomon code) is proposed and a schemebased on IDBRS for ensuring data storage security in cloud storage system is designedand implemented, which includes data integrality detection and restoration. In addition,a dynamic mechanism for storage node management is given to enhance the securityand robustness of the cloud data.In this paper, the basic architecture of cloud storage and its current securitymechanisms are introduced firstly, and the merit and shortcoming of the existing dataintegrity detection technology is analyzed, and the knowledge of erasure code,especially the principle of Reed-Solomon code and the application of erasure code inthe domain of cloud data integrality are introduced in detail. Secondly, by analysing theperformance of the present scheme for cloud data integrality about public checking, thesupport of dynamic data, computing and communication cost, the paper proposesIDBRS model and gives the cloud data integrality detection scheme based on IDBRS,which needn't store the authentication metadata in client and eliminates the risk oflosing the metadata while decreases the cost of storage. Thirdly, the paper proposes adata restoration scheme based erasure code. At the same time, a dynamic mechanism forstorage node management is given. The mechanism not only enhances the security androbustness of the cloud data, but also improves the data integrity checking efficiently.Finally, the performance of the cloud data integrity detection scheme IDBRS anddata restoration system are tested and analyzed. The experiments show that IDBRS isefficient in the cloud data integrity detection with low storage and communication cost,the data storage system can improve cloud data availability and safety.
