Energy crisis and environment exacerbation bring focus of governments to the explore and use of new energy. The semiconductor thermoelectric generator is a green and environment-protectful technology ,which turns the thermal energy to the electrical energy through the seebeck effect .This electricity-generating technology has advantages in the smaller volume , lighter weight, free from pollution, better stability and so on. These strong points have made the technology be the attractive research topic. For now ,this technology has been used in the aspect of military and the aeronautics ,and is been promoting to the industrial and region and civil use.This thesis introduces several kinds of basic thermoelectric effect, computes the thermoelectric transfer efficiency theoretically, and analyzes several parameters, such as the seebeck parameter, electric conductivity and heat conductivity, which affect the thermoelectric performance of material. The experiment took the Bi2Te3 semiconductor, which was suitable to be used at indoor temperature, as the research object, to test the columnar material's thermoelectric performance and obtain laws of its thermoelectric parameter. Besides, in order to deepen our understanding of the effects that implantation had on the material's thermoelectric performance, the material's electronic structure was computed by the castep software. The research found that different kinds of implantation can reduce the electron transition energy, which increases the electrons when thermal excitation acts on the material and enhances the thermoelectric performance when using the thermoelectric material.The thesis explores the improvement of the working progress of the thermoelectric device from two aspects, which are separately heat transport and electronic transport. Another aspect of the thesis is about the property-changing analysis on the heat-conductive material, heat-insulating material and the heat dissipation part.The thesis tested the thermoelectric Generation module of the semiconductor, and researched a series of its thermoelectric properties, such as its open circuit voltage, voltage current characteristic, output power, thermoelectric transformation rate and so on. From the test, we summed up the law of electricity-generating performance of the thermoelectric device. Still, based on the test, the experiment produced two kinds of thermoelectric devices, which have different superposing mode. Device one reached the 176 mW output power with the temperature of 80℃, and device two reached the 160 mW output power with the temperature of 100℃.At last, we designed a computer intelligent data acquisition system based on the Altair data acquisition card, thereby improving the data acquisition system, which can successfully acquire voltage and the temperature signal, and then save the data.
