With the development of modern industrial technology and advances in military technology and increasing demand for high power laser, transfer and application of high power optical has become increasingly important. As an important component in optical fiber systems, single-mode fiber couplers are an integral part of fiber optic passive devices. Based on project of National Natural Science Foundation of China "study on 1064nm large-mode-area optical fiber coupler (61077019)", designed a variety of single-mode optical fiber mode field and customize.Improved measurement of optical parameters of far-field method, with simple laboratory instruments, completed a customized optical fiber testing, combined with the numerical calculation, enabling measurement, get multiple parameters of fiber.Analysis of mode field fiber with conventional single-mode fiber coupling loss of butt weld, experimental trial and error, resulting suitable welding process parameter, better reduce the coupling of different fiber loss. For the next experiment, has laid a solid foundation.Established based on optical fiber coupler model, on this basis, has prepared a model field of single-mode fiber couplers.
