As the initial stage of IoT (Internet of Things), the industry of M2M has been already engaged in the focused project in the proposal of―National's the Eleventh Five-Year‖. Meanwhile, the basement of M2M development has also been established in order to develop and spread the application systems in IoT domain, such as Elevator Security, Automobile Monitoring, Shipping and Navigation Marking, Risk Monitoring etc. The M2M industry aims to create the First-Rank and complete business chain and brand in the world. China Telecom, who is behalf of the pivot operators of telecommunications, accelerates its step on the research on M2M industry at the very first time when CDMA network has been contracted. And M2M Platform, as the main achievement, has been tried to apply in the domain of Automobile and Intelligent Traffic Monitoring etc. However, when enterprise applications try to be integrated with M2M Platform and complete the data interaction process, several obstacles and challenges are met, such as huge workload of the original system's refactory, lack of the unified syntactical standard of data interaction, the new requirement of information sharing among different systems and multi-patterned interaction mode for all kinds of data. Those obstacles and challenges, on a large extent, impede the M2M Platform and relevant Techniques to play a more significant role.Corresponding to the obstacles and risks mentioned above, this paper puts forward an M2M Middleware and its relevant solutions, supporting enterprise applications to be agilely and flexibly integrated with the M2M Platform. The main content is as bellows: 1) The implementation of MAAP data transferring Protocol and encapsulation of interfaces. This paper implements the data interaction through MAAP protocol and its interface to M2M Platform. 2) The mechanism of Syntactical Unification based on Event Engine and XML specifications. This paper utilizes the enterprise leveled Esper Event Engine and XML-based Syntax Specification to implement the departure of enterprise applications and the physical details of their corresponding terminal devices and provides the flexible and extensible mechanism of―Syntax Subscription– Business Logic– Event Query‖. 3) The mechanism of Semantic Unification based on the theory of Ontology and its domain model. Hereby, this paper puts forward a semi-automatic approach of―Domain Ontology Modeling– Ontology Model Mapping‖to support the information sharing among multiple heterogeneous enterprise applications. 4) The multi-patterned data interaction mode between applications and M2M Platform. This paper proposes the mechanism of―PULL-PUSH-ETL‖to satisfy the requirement of distinguished application data interaction. This paper finally puts the solutions mentioned above into practice, combining with the practical enterprise application system,―Schneider Sun Shine Air Compressor System‖, in order to make it integrated with M2M Platform and implement the Air Compressor's remote state monitoring. Currently, after the practical verification, the experiment results prove that the degree of interface complexity has been reduced by 53.3%, the average quantity of code refactorying has been reduced by 57.1%, the period of maintenance has been reduced nearly by half, and no platform-depended data structure is used any more. Moreover, the total data latency only increases by 8.3%. So, the M2M Middleware and it relevant solutions have provided great support for multiple heterogeneous applications to flexibly, agilely and rapidly be integrated with the M2M Platform.
