The Research Of Energy Efficiency About Wireless Sensor Networks With Hierarchy

The energy of nodes and the communication distance between nodes are limited, while the distribution of WSN is larger, so the network life will be very short if all the nodes communicate with the base stations directly. Therefore, the application of routing protocols in the WSN is very important. The routing nodes of WSN are hard to configure prior because of the dynamic of the WSN, so a good routing protocol is an essential technology to WSN.LEACH is a good layered routing protocols, but it exists certain disadvantages. Based on LEACH, this paper improves the LEACH algorithm in order to improve the life cycle and the capacity of information collecting of WSN, while the improvement of information capacity collected by the whole WSN means the improvement of data accuracy. The main improvements contain the selecting method of cluster head, the distribution of cluster head and the hops between clusters head and BS. And makes different scenes to simulate the LEACH and the improved algorithm(EMH-LEACH). The simulation results show that the improved algorithm is better than LEACH in life cycle and the accuracy of information collection. At the same time, the improved algorithm is suitable for a environment with wider range. Then designs the topological structure of a smart-house based on the ZigBee, in order to run the whole system, also designs the topological of the whole system, hardware and software of the gateway, and the Ethernet monitoring software of the whole system so that realize the realistic application with the improved algorithm. The test results show that the whole system has good robustness and real-time.
