Research On Coverage Effect And Interference Of Outdoor Antenna For Mobile Communication

The high population density of Shanghai makes it a focus area for the mobile communications business. Because of the high building density and complex geographical environment,the depth and quality of mobile communication signal coverage is difficult to be guaranteed solely by general base station.Based on the status of network coverage in residential areas in Shanghai,the paper focuses on the principle of antenna selection and antenna placement,and makes an appropriate electromagnetic propagation model by the theoretical model combined with the actual test results.The effect of coverage and the appropriate countermeasures is given for different types of residential buildings.The paper also give some network optimization recommendations to control the signal divulgence and to lower the interference. The study can effectively guide the design in mobile communication area and have a precise prediction of signal coverage.
