Design And Implementation Of The SAP-Based Medical Material Management System

In China, With the development of medical industry, and more powerful of medical technology, information management of medical industry does not keep pace with the times. Material management has many problems in the medical field, such as the mean of material management is single, procedures of getting material is complex, data isolation, accounting information lag, the sources of information for decision-making are not unified, etc. In order to solve above the problems, let material management to be transparent, integrated, dynamic, precise, it must have a information management system with advanced management theory.SAP applications in the medical industry gradually developed abroad, but in China, it is in infancy. The content of this paper is to combine SAP's management philosophy and its information technology with medical supplies business, moreover design and realize this kind of system. Based on the world's leading SAP ECC Business Suite and NetWeaver integration platform, combined with the unique medical business, do a unified business process optimization and adopt advanced management concepts. Through requirements analysis, system design, rapidly design and implementation of business strategies and processes. Based on analysis of medical units information construction, standardized materials management processes, to achieve master data management, procurement management, inventory management, etc. In the project, my major task was to get the customers'requirement with other consultants; finish the blueprint based on requirement and train the customers in order to make them to get enough information for system test.The successful implementation of the system to solve many medical unit materials management problems and improve the efficiency of medical units materials management , and achieve the precise management of medical material. It provides some materials management experience and infrastructure for other medical units.
