Organic Light Emitting device is a new type of display device, it was called Organic LightEmitting Diode too. It has excellent characteristics, such as active luminescence, high brightness,fast response, high definition, low voltage, high efficiency and wide operation temperature etc.Therefore, the study of OLED has extensive application prospect. At present, low light-emissionefficiency and low lifetime are the critical problems to block the marketization of OLED.The main contributions of the paper are listed as follows:1. In this paper, the principles of driving circuits, image displays and control systems arestudied. The characteristics of driving methods, including current driving method, voltagedriving method, AC driving method, DC driving method, passive driving method and activedriving method, are analyzed. The DC driving method is used in the paper. With respect toDC-Voltage driving AC-driving circuit can improve the lifetime of OLED, but the luminanceefficiency of OLED under AC driving is lower than DC driving.2. This paper introduced process for fabricating OLED. A Passive-Matrix OLED displaywith the structure of glass/ITO/MoO3:NPB/NPB/Alq3/LiF/Al is designed and fabricated.3. The driving circuits and control circuits of OLED display system based on the single chipprocessor are designed and fabricated. In this system, the driving circuit controlled by the singlechip processor is used to transmit the display data and provide the control command. Theexperimental results show that the circuit possess excellent performance. The circuits which havesimple structure can also be easily applied on small scale of OLED.4. The causes of cross effect are discussed. The reverse voltage suppression method isproposed, which can improve effectively cross effect.
