Monitoring System For Home Security Based On Embedded Technology

Now, monitoring system for home security has gradually become a basic security device that is equipped to effectively reduce the growing number of burglary offenses. When an unfair intrusive or a gas leak, fire or other accident occur, this device will raise the alarm in time and inform the owner. Office workers at anytime anywhere outside can check in the home situation, and can switch or adjust the indoor equipment through remote control. As the modern home security system is subject to the popularization and development of intelligent home equipment, it still needs the joint efforts of development and design staff to make home security protection system to achieve high standards of modern intelligent.As the background of the family monitoring system development, this paper compared the family safety monitoring design scheme from two levels of transmission medium and server form, and gave the advantage of family safety monitoring system based on embedded technology. The design based on Windows CE 6.0 embedded operating system development used the INTEL PXA270D development board to build the web server of the home security monitoring system, gave the structure of Windows CE 6.0, and discusses the main functions of the module such as GEWS, device driver module, and service module,etc.The design used the software of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to build development environment, complete the USB driver based on Hardware platform of PXA270D and software platform of Windows CE 6.0, Generated the corresponding.DLL dynamic link library interface for the server application procedure's calling. Achieve a USB video camera's data acquisition and transmission, reduce the pressure of the web server by using ActiveX control technology and finally achieve the SOCKET communications between the server and the client based on the B/S mode. This article detail on the elaborate design thought mainly from building of the three important parts such as the WEB server, the client and the wireless sensor system.
