Research In The Communication Mode Of Agricultural Science And Technology Under The Background Of Agricultural Feminization

Agricultural Science and Technology, as the bridge of relationship between the government and the farmers, and relationship between the agricultural research and the production applications, but also is the key that turning the potential productivity of agricultural scientific research into practical productive forces, it plays an important role in agricultural development. In rural areas, the famers are main labor force in agricultural production, and they are audience in the process of the dissemination of agricultural science and technology, they are major population in our country. Accompany with the accelerated urbanization process in China, a large number of rural male labor force to the secondary and tertiary industries, the rural women are tend to be especially population, the traditional model has been changed.Although government has done hard to promote agricultural technology, because of institutional problems, and the large number of farmers and own qualities, and the concepts and methods, and especially due to the lack of concerning about relationship between the agriculture feminization and the dissemination of agricultural science and technology, farmers can't benefit from agricultural science and technology. The new model does not make the women positive in the agricultural technology dissemination and learning, it shows the division of women's role in the production changes are not consistent with the role and function of changes in women's role in agricultural production, which is an important reason to promote efficiency of agricultural production and diffusion of technology.This thesis integrated literature review, case interviews and other normative analysis and empirical analysis in this thesis. Through the analysis of Nan County in Hunan Province, and this thesis made research in the agricultural feminization in this area, and then analyze the causes of feminization of agriculture and its impact to the agricultural production and the rural economy development. And this thesis concern about the characteristics of the female audience and media selection, and the research of relationship between the transmitter and the audience, at last this paper raise the new agricultural science and technology communication mode, which is aimed at the gender-sensitive.The limitations of this mode is only for the rural which have many women now, but cultural quality of agricultural women is necessary, it need the government attention and media publicity, and improve organization.
