Chinese Information Processing technology has broad applications in modern. With the rapid development of Internet and computer application technology, large amounts of data supply new issues and demands for Chinese information retrieval and processing. This paper bases on computational linguistics and formal semantics.(1)Through the classification of ancient Chinese verbs, modern verbs, Concepts Dependency Theories and English verbs classification, this paper proposes and analyzes a new classification of verbs. It can also supply a new method for language teaching. This system establishes a verb library based on classification. It uses grammar rules to verificate on verb classification and sentence semantic analysis system. It is proved that verb classification system is feasible and effective. It discusses matching problems between verbs and other components.(2)Jiang Yan and Pan Haihua put out formal semantics based on type and category theory. Huang Zengyang put out HNC theory. This system merges them to make Chinese realize level semantic analysis and expression. It designs and realizes natural language understanding system logic-driven by verb. It defines type and category completely from Chinese grammar. It expresses the ideas based on type and category to algorithm, formalizes natural language to logical expressions. It can realize syntax and semantic analysis of common sentence type in modern Chinese. Category theory is used to analyze semantics. It transforms the concept of category to a"field"in corpus. It uses combination process of type for driven and programs to control the flow of analysis process. It realizes logic-driven of semantic analysis.(3)This paper compares active sentences and passive sentences in Chinese and English. It defines them separately. There are two particular types of sentences把(ba)- sentence and被(bei)- sentence in Chinese. It uses placeholder thought ofλ-transformation to realize their analysis. It is a new idea that syntax and semantics analysis based on type grammar of formal semantic. It introduces western modern logic grammar theory, but it is not limited to this. It is more suitable for operation on Chinese than rule-based limited syntactic analysis. This paper breakthroughes the traditional Chinese lexical analysis system that from lexical analysis to syntactic analysis, and then to semantic analysis. It uses research strategy from lexical level to semantic analysis level. There are rich growing points and strong scalability in this system.
