With the rapid development of transportation,the application of the meridian tires has become increasingly common.For the meridian's tires have good shape,not stability,security and durable quality,its characteristics and its functions clearly advantageous to the ordinary tire.The meridian tires have become the main tire products.The techniques requirement of tire manufacturing is very huge,In the process of tire manufacturing often have some quality problems,Therefore have the quality inspection of the meridian tires is especially important in the factory.The commonly detection method is using X machine to get the tire image.By observation to judge whether the image have flaw and give the types and classification.These judges are very subjective, and have outside interference.The intensity of work is very large,so the workers were too tired with their eyes to recognize some flaw.This paper is based on the tire images and the tire quality standards.In order to automatically identify the flaws of the tires designed the software system.This paper designed the identify algorithm of the tire's defects, and using Matlab programmed the system of quality inspection of the meridian tires.
