Construction Of Library Human Spirit

Humanism is a human-centered, human spirit to the actual needs of people, human spirit in a healthy, positive, optimistic outlook on life-oriented, and human spirit is to promote respect of nature, respected human nature to form the harmony and equality, to make progress in interpersonal environment. Library humanism refers to the practice of work in the library more than reflected in the people-oriented thinking, to meet people's requirements, realization of human values, human values, human development, human care, creating beauty and harmony as the purpose of library activities. With the rapid development of information technology, Information technology on human access to knowledge and communication have a revolutionary impact, making the university library network, the pace of digital construction faster and faster. Now modern information technology has been fully applied in the library field, library operations and services, information resources increasingly depends on the degree to master the use of technology and technical equipment, staffing levels, this has led some scholars are one-sided emphasis on the value of science and technology, while ignoring the value of human spirit. In this paper, my school, for example, introduced the humanistic spirit of university libraries in the role of the construction of a harmonious campus, library humanistic spirit can not only optimize the quality of teaching and enhance the level of scientific research, but also greatly promote the ideological and political education. This paper also summarizes how to strengthen the human spirit library building,_one is to create a harmonious environment; the second is to optimize the collection to meet the needs of readers; the third is to carry out the diversity of people-oriented services, and promote harmonious campus.
