Research And Analysis On Video Streaming Collaborative Transmission In Wireless Network

With the development of wireless network technology, streaming media service is becoming a reality in the wireless environment. But the wireless stream media service needs to be able to overcome the wireless channel fading, channel bandwidth, error rate and other challenges. So how to provide reliable streaming media transmission QoS guarantee in the wireless network is becoming a hot issue in the current study.Cooperative diversity can effectively overcome error of the packet caused by fading characteristics of wireless channel and the decrease of available bandwidth , so it become an effective method to improve the quality of video communication. This paper presents a MAC layer cooperative transmission scheme with the importance of the application layer which take the advantages of cooperative diversity: the channel conditions between different nodes are statistically independent. When the destination node is not correctly received data packet, it sent Cooptr control frame, the relay nodes generated by optimum channel-based algorithm use the principle of spatial diversity to collaborate to improve the success of the video packet retransmission rate to improved video quality at the destination node. Video packet scheduling algorithm on the relay node based on the distortion model of video packets degree of importance of video packets are analyzed, which use distortion value to measure the importance of each video packet, the relay node read the value of sequence control from Cooptr frame then selective retransmission of the importance video packet to destination node.Finally, we use NS-2 to simulation the proposed collaboration based on video transmission scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce the packet error video transmission distortion of video quality, improve the quality of reconstructed video.
