Research For Guangxi Endangered Archives Protection

In 2006, China government launched the "National Key archives Rescue Project," The goal is to rescue and protect endangered key archives at all levels of National archives. How to rescue and protect Guangxi endangered archives when implementing "National Key archives Rescue Project" and "China Archives and Heritage Project", the research has important significance. Guangxi endangered archives is the existing wealth archives which carrier materials will be completely destroyed or their information relative scarcity. They have huge value, face extinction, must be rescued and protected. They can be divided by carrier to paper files, video files and cloth files, with features such as big historical value, badly damaged, rare quantity. Among them, the ancient Zhuang language files, genealogy files, cloth files are Guangxi special endangered archives. It is mainly based on "National Key archives Rescue Project", "China Archives and Heritage Conservation Project" to rescue and protect endangered archives in Guangxi.It has achieved some remarkable performance, but some problems are also existed. To rescue and protect Guangxi endangered archives well, from the policy aspect, we must connect it to the "National Key archives Rescue Project", "China Archives and Heritage Project" and some other projects. From the practical aspect, we should investigate completely and understand the situation clearly. We must prioritize which part should be first and protect it specially. Advanced technology should be used to achieve digitization for the endangered archives. Through different channels, make sure the funds to protect endangered archives. Strengthen building human resources to provide enough personnel to rescue and protect endangered archives. Handle and control special technology to improve the standard of protection job. Push forward building modernization archives by plan as a whole in Guangxi. From the management system aspect, we should make sure different departments'function, establish long-term protection system and special management system, take all kinds of measures to do a good job for protecting Guangxi endangered archives.
