In promoting the rapid development of mobile Internet, more and more mobile communication users to become mobile Internet users, and promote the growth of mobile data traffic, while smart phone, PAD products also brings network data traffic surge. China Mobile Group in order to meet this growing demand for data traffic in 2010, proposed by using centralized base station C-RAN network construction mode, increasing the coverage density of base stations to improve access bandwidth of a single base station, dramatically reducing the cost of unit flow. The experiment shows, C-RAN centralized base station can significantly reduce the engine room equipment to reduce the remote computer room air conditioning, thus reducing the overall network energy consumption, the average energy consumption than traditional base station substantially reduced substantially, but the energy saving The effect of row in the consumption of more resources on the basis of fiber obtained.In order to solve the C-RAN concentration consumed more fiber resources, the subject of the analysis EPON, GPON, CWDM, DWDM and other optical technology and features, combined with building construction and environmental requirements of different occasions, raised by a single root core broadband signals transmitted over bearer for classification of rough waves, building to EPON, GPON, CWDM, DWDM and other optical fiber-based network model for different transmission access and communication from the transmission bandwidth, transmission distance, safety conservation of natural resources, construction cost analysis of five dimensions, it is recommended to CWDM technology-based transmission access network programs, reducing C-RAN transmission access building fiber consumption. And set up the CWDM technology-based transmission access pilot program, by contrast, analyze, verify the feasibility and the advantages and disadvantages.The research project will promote the C-RAN for green building energy saving mode in the new wireless network in the promotion and application of the existing network, saving the basis of wireless communication resources, pipeline operators have far-reaching significance, the economic benefits generated by the future and social benefits will be very significant.
