Design Of Digital Video Capture Card Based On SOPC

As more and more technologies of digital TV broadcasting come to common, people are growing requirements of a wide range of visual taste,the quality of traditional vide can't meeting the requirements of the audience because of the rough production and single effects.Collecting digital video signal to a computer, the computer can easily achieve a variety of effects processing on the video, and then broadcast them out, the method can greatly enriched the types of video effects, well enhanced the effects of the video.Therefore, the capture of digital video data has been an important research side in the video processing area. In this paper, based on SOPC digital video capture cards were studied.Through the analysis and research on the digital video capture card, presented the system solutions which include decode and descramble, desterilizer, data store, data transmission.In the hardware architecture, using CycloneⅡchip named EP2C20Q240C8 as the main processing chip.In the soft system realizing SDI input processsing, data processing, clock generation, Frame detection, data buffer to achivev data fron-t-end processing,The main sysytem SOPC system is composed by the PCI core,DMA core and Self-designed core. To resolve the problem of data redundance,Making the Self-designed core work in the stream mode,so that when there is no data sourse,the card can wait until the data coming,in this way,the card can not collect the useless data.To match the need of system speed, making the DMA core work in the buffer mode can achieve all the functions and realize the speed of 2112 Mbit/s,Through the FPGA simulation of the functional modules and final system testing show that the development of SOPC-based digital video capture card running well,the driver is work correctly, the corrected datas are right to fit whe digital video format, the images collected play stability and no shaking.Through research and analysis, because of the advantage of high integration in SOPC system, not only shortens the development cycle, ensure system stability, but also cost savings, we can have a deep study in the Broadcast card, make the care can collecte digital video signal to the computer,at the same time,can broadcase the signal which has already been Processed by the computer,In this way,It has important practical value on video capture and video processing.
