University informationization has been widespread attention to colleges and universities, is flourishing across the country. Through the construction meet the teaching, research, management and services, and other work needed to apply information technology infrastructure and information systems to improve efficiency and management level, is to enhance the core competitiveness of the necessary school requirements, high and low level of information technology has become the measure of a university is an important sign of first-class one.University informationization system although achieved some success, but also exposed a lot of questions, some of the information systems already in use, functions can not fully meet the requirements, technical architecture and technology solutions more messy enough unity, documentation result in some loss of system maintenance difficult. Even more serious is that the "information islands" has been formed, the various departments to share between the systems difficult to completely separate the value of information has not been fully utilized and mining. These problems arise in the final analysis is the lack of a unified scientific planning.In this study, based on FY university information of the actual situation, combined with the information colleges and universities abroad experience, through extensive research, analysis and information needs, the use of Nolan information model stage, the use of critical success factor method, U / C matrix and other tools to carry out specific planning studies. Which is mainly reflected in the network service layer and application layer planning.This research may play an important role in Western University informationization.
