The Study Of Lineage Society In Luozhou Town, Fuzhou City

The Lineage Society in the village has become the hot topic in the cultural anthropology research. This paper centers on Lineage Society in three villages of Dianqian,Wucuo and Zhouwei in Luozhou town, Fuzhou city, with the methods of field survey, oral interview and documents interpretation. This paper can be devided into three aspects:firstly, it organizes and studies the specific Lineage development in Chen of Dianqian village, Wu of Wucuo village and Lin of Zhouwei village and elaborates the daily operation of Lineage Society through describing Ancestor worship ceremony and God Pageant Ceremony. Besides, it illustrates the construction process of the inter-Lineage Societies and interior Lineage Society, exhibiting profound social changes of Luozhou town since Ming and Qing Dynasty by intensive study involving special cases. Finally, with the development and evolution of lineage, imperial examination and belief, Luozhou has taken on different forms of social organization, based upon which the underlying factors of construction of code rural and social order are discussed. In general, this paper provides not only a fact referring to the development and evolution of Lineage Society, but also lot of cases for further researches on Lineage Society.
