With the development and further deepening of the new curriculum reform, a teacher's quality has been put more and more focus. Teacher is not only the directly practitioner of education activity, but also the main force and powerful promoter of the new curriculum reform. Although the reform provides teachers more space and platform to create, cooperate and break through , it also requires them to develop better and higher working quality at the same time.How to improve a teacher's quality is not only a very important theory problem in the research of educational science, but also an urgent practical problem in the process of educational practice .Therefore, we have to study this question with close combination of theory and practice. On that basis, this paper mainly concentrates on the improvement of high school history teachers'qualities. The Topics is"A Research on Professional Qualities of Senior High School History teachers in Changchun Urban Area: Current Situation and Improving Counter-measures"Set in the new curriculum reform , the paper is written by the method of empirical study .In order to finish it, I conducted a effective investigation about the quality of high school history teacher ,aiming at getting the weak links of the high school history teacher quality structure and finding out the gap between current situation and the request of new curriculum reform, so that to put forward some targeted countermeasures and concrete implementation ways. By doing this, we may able to improve the quality of history teaching and promote the effectiveness of new curriculum reform. In the meantime, I also hope this research can be a good help for the relevant department to formulate some actively practicable measures that can improve high school history teachers'working quality and provide some countermeasures and suggestions as well.This article mainly by the introduction, the main text, the endnotes three parts is composed.The introduction clarifies the selection cause, significance of the topic and the domestic and foreign research actualities , it also shows the research methods in this paper.The first part of this text is the theoretical basis of empirical survey. Based on the unique content of history and under the new curriculum background, I have explained the quality of the senior high school history teacher, which provides important basis for the survey of this paper.The second part is the practical research section .On the combination of questionnaire method and interview method, the paper makes a further investigation and a systematic analysis about the quality of the senior high school history teacher in Changchun city . Through identifying the problem, the third part reaches a conclusion of the gap between the current situation about the quality of senior high school history teacher and the requirements of the new curriculum reform. With further search of the reasons why the problem exists, we may puts forward more related countermeasures and specific ways .The epilogue part makes a summary about the paper, aiming at providing some reference for the relevant department to formulate measures.
