Implementation of curriculum is the core aspect of Curriculum reform, and its basic way is classroom instruction, which is only through interaction can be carried out. Classroom interaction directly affects the students' development. Effective instruction asks for effective classroom interaction. At present, people gradually concern the effectiveness of classroom instruction. On the grounds of current condition of classroom interaction and the relevant theoretical basis, we discuss the effective classroom interaction from four parts.I. In this part, we primarily discuss its related concepts and based theories. First by analyzing the concepts of interaction, classroom interaction and effective classroom interaction, we indicate that the essence of effective classroom interaction is to improve students' development. Further, we summarize there characteristics of effective classroom interaction: fairness, dynamics and generation, equal-footed dialogue between subjects in interaction. Then we explore its theoretical basis from the prospective of sociology and psychology. In sociology field, there are group dynamics and theory of symbolic interaction. In psychology field, constructivism, MIT and Bandura's reciprocal determinism also have effect on effective classroom interaction.II. In this part, it's the description of English effective classroom interaction status in Kunshan High School. The research is carried by English class examples, teaching clips, doing questionnaire and interviews with students and teachers. Starting from the frequency and the forms of the English classroom interaction, we find the problems in our classroom interaction are: formalization, unfairness and so on. Based on the findings of the condition of current classroom interaction, we analyze factors influence the effective interaction from the class questions raising, the class explanation and the class discussion and so on.III. In this part, we explore the strategies of the English effective classroom interaction based on three above-mentioned parts, five strategies having been put forward. To establish an effective strategy for the creation of scenarios; to establish an effective strategy for cooperative learning; to establish an effective strategy for classroom management; to establish an effective strategy for harmonious atmosphere. IV. In this part, according to the current high school English textbooks style, under the help of the strategies mentioned in part 3, we carry out different English class interaction designs.It is hoped that this paper can help us know the reality of classroom interaction in senior middle school. It can make some contributions to the education reform, English teaching and research. To reduce the gaps between theories and practice and to be useful to the perfection of our country's English teaching.
