The Study Of The Existing Problems Of Badminton Coaches In Undergraduate Colleges In Hunan Province And Its Corresponding Countermeasures

As sports training leaders ,sports coaches in undergraduate colleges play an key role in improving the professional ability of college athletes and exert a profound influence on nurturing athletic talent of different levels. A crucial link of sports training management is how to build a high-level, high-quality and excellent coach team.This paper takes badminton coaches, who headed their teams(teams come from 17 undergraduate colleges , among these are National University of Defense Technology, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Xiangtan University, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan City University, Hunan University of Science and Technology ) participated the 9th Hunan provincial University Games, as the research subject. This paper investigates and analysis the current situation of the badminton coaches in undergraduate colleges of our province by employing literature method, survey method and statistical method. It aims at Using literature information method, questionnaire and mathematical statistics in our Province undergraduate colleges'badminton coach of the status of the investigation and analysis. The aim is to understand the status of badminton coach, find out problems, and further proposes solutions of the problems for badminton coaches, the cultivation and the sustainable development to provide the reference.Through the study the conclusions are as follows: The basic situation of the province badminton coaches for: age structure is rational, mainly among middle-aged coaches, in the turn of the new and old; great difference in sex, the male coaches account for dominant position; coaches'degree level is higher, while they lack of practical experience; title structure is lower, and age structure without positively normal distribution; coaches mainly from sports school, most badminton coaches without long-term system of training and coaching for 5 years or less than 5 years, and lack of long-term leading experience; many badminton coaches is not satisfied with pay; badminton coaches lack of incomprehensive basic theoretical knowledge, instrumental discipline knowledge was weak while they have solid professional knowledge, but their general knowledge structure performance is uneven; Few scientific research achievements, the scientific research level need to improve; coaches select athletes depending on experience; value innovation ability, and enhance the sports information ability, outstanding in educational management ability performance; they are not satisfied with their own knowledge structure and they eager for learning, but each university attach few importance to the coaches' training and continuing education, coaches have few opportunities to participate in training and continue education.The study suggestion as follow: to attach great importance to improving the construction of the badminton coaches, to improve comprehensive qualities of coaches, perfect management system, enhance the coaching level; to establish and sound the incentive mechanism, strengthen the badminton thought construction, optimize the structure of the coach team; to strengthen scientific research behavior of coaches, encourage coach to searching, reform, bold innovation, to found the problem through its own research and exploration to seeking a new solutions in learning and training practices, and verify in their training practice, make it into scientific research achievements, and strive to improve their scientific research ability.
