| Since the reform and opening, there is a large-scale population flowing appeared with the industrialization and urbanization, these floating population formed a special social group -- "migrant workers". This group made a contribution to a flourishing city, but can't enjoy the same rights to urban residents, their rights can't get effective safeguard, it is not only influence the peasant workers' survival and development, but also unfavorable to social stability and economic development.Therefore, it has realistic significance to explore how to guarantee the rights of migrant workers actively and how to promote social justice. This paper selects the migrant workers of Sunan region to be investigating object, in order to understand the lack of peasant workers rights status quo, and exist problems of the rights of migrant workers through the questionnaire survey and depth interview. This paper conceptualized"rights"into four aspects, they are the employment rights of life and health, education and development, political participation which cover migrant workers live, work, and study, political participation of all aspects of specific rights. This paper also analyzed the performance of the workers'missing rights and the existing problems,the reasons of the peasant workers' missing rights from peasant workers themselves and the external environment of migrant workers live. Finally, introducing the increasing power mode of the social work , from two increasing power modes——"the increasing power of individual active mode " and "external force pushes mode " to discuss how to reconstruct the rights of migrant workers in Jiangsu. To draw a conclusion, we think some measures should be take:(1) accelerate the household registration system reform, perfect legal laws and regulations, (2) strengthen the social responsibility of the enterprise, (3)media reports mechanism, and(4) establish normal peasant workers' continuous efforts to improve their own quality. |
