Rhetorical Analysis Of LuXun's Novle The Medicine

The short fiction medicine, which is regarded as one of the typical representative works among the fictions that was composited by luxun in early period, have been followed with interesting and received lots of comments since it was published. The thesis is analyzed the names of people and places based on the lexicon system and gives the symbol, which is put into literary context, a Multi-layer interpretation in Generalized rhetoric field. On the basis of analysis of core symbol medicine, the thesis explores the content and the describable means of this novel in the surface layer and deep layer from apparent and hidden aspects. With a series of binary mode characteristics, the thesis is to reveal the discourse of rhetorical constructive operation between name and discourse establishment. Finally, the aesthetic style of the novel has been glimpsed by the western literary theory, which is called rhetorical irony.
