Objective:Surveying and analyzing the mental health status and the influence factors which act on the mental health status, to provide the theoretical basis on physical and psychological health of rural TB patients. Methods: 390 TB patients who treated at tuberculosis dispensary in Yishui County were selected according to convenience sampling method. Set the patients as the reaserch objects. We surveyed all the research objects by the questionnaire of the Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90) and the questionnaire of the demography general information and the relevant clinical manifestation use Interview Method and Administered Questionnaires, and analyzed the mental health status and influencing factors of the patients. Use t-test, single factor analysis and multiple factors logistic regression analysis to correlation testing. Analysis the mental health status, the influence factors which act on the mental health status. Results:The total score of SCL-90 of rural study group (142.47±47.63) was not only higher than the score of national norm (129.96±38.76), (P<0.01), and also higher than the score of the city group (67.71±59.83), (t=15.20, P<0.001). Mainly displays in somatization symptom, depression, anxiety, terror, psychoticism. In the study group, the score of SCL-90 of the female patients (144.65±43.51) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the male patients (133.5±40.23), (t=1.94, P<0.05). The score of SCL-90 of the patients with Primary Education (141.0±45.77) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients with Secondary Education (134.57±38.03), (t=2.08, P<0.05). The score of SCL-90 of the patients with haemoptysis (152.44±43.16) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients without haemoptysis (133.53±40.21), (t=2.35, P<0.01). The score of SCL-90 of the patients with empty of Chest X-ray (151.46±43.21) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients without empty of Chest X-ray (135.12±41.25), t=2.20, P<0.05). The score of SCL-90 of the patients who unmarried, divorced or widowed (145.44±42.34) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients who married (132.52±39.02), (t=1.76, P< 0.05). The score of SCL-90 of the patients of the low level economy (144.45±40.13) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients of the higher levels economy (131.21±39.02), (t=1.79, P<0.05). The score of SCL-90 of the patients who thought TB influence the labor force (149.52±43.67) was higher than the score of SCL-90 of the patients who didn't think TB influence the labor force (132.05±40.29), (t=1.73, P< 0.05). Single factor analysis showed that gender, educational level, haemoptysis, empty, marital status, the level of economy and the impact of TB on the labor were associated with the mental health of rural TB patients. Multiple factors of logistic regression analysis showed that haemoptysis (OR=7.07,95% CI2.02-24.75), economic level (OR=2.73,95%CI1.27-5.85) and the impact of TB on the labor (OR=3.05,95%CI1.42-6.55) were highly related to the mental health of rural TB patients. Conclusion:The mental health of rural TB patients is very poor, mainly displays in somatization symptom, depression, anxiety, terror, psychoticism. The poor mental health status of rural TB patients is related to the haemoptysis, economic levels and the impact of TB on the labor. We should strengthen the psychological maintenance for rural TB patients.
