Purpose Knee osteoarthritis (Osteoarthritis, OA) is multiple diseases in the older age groups, etiology and pathogenesis is not clear. This paper attempts to explore the process characteristics of knee osteoarthritis and its related factors. Methods 2007 July to 2009 November were collected in a Qingdao hospital operation in treatment of 315 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis and case information, including general situation, current medical history, past medical history, physical examination, X ray examinations, disease diagnosis and laboratory examination; clinical biochemical examination including triglyceride, total cholesterol, glucose, calcium, magnesium in blood, physical measurements for height, weight,24≤BMI<28 for overweight, BMI≥28 for obesity; questionnaire about patients with premorbid activity (labor), according to the gradeâ… < 15, gradeâ…¡-20,â…¢-25,â…£> 25, index shows that large labor intensity, and vice versa small. Data was analyzed usingχ2 test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis, with P< 0.05 there is a significant difference. Results 315 cases of knee osteoarthritis patients, male patients accounted for 21.6%, women accounted for 78.4%, visible female prevalence ratio was significantly higher than that of male (P< 0.05).51~60 years old patients accounted for 23.2%,61~70 years old patients accounted for 40.6%,71~80 years old patients accounted for 32.1%. Analysis of clinical manifestations and results show the single knee patients accounted for 51.1%, double knee patients accounted for 48.9%, but there was no difference.51.1% patients of left knee patients accounted for 21.6%, right knee patients accounted for 29.5%, was significantly higher (P<0.01). Osteoarthritis patients were pain (100%) symptoms, bone fricative accounted for 79.7%, crouch difficult accounted for 65.5%, accounting for 41.3% of bone and joint swelling. Overweight patients accounted for 75.9%, accounting for 51.9% of obese patients. The results of the data analysis also showed mental patients accounted for 31.7% of the patients, physical labor accounted for 68.3% of patients, physical labor intensity of labor of level 2 and level 3 patients accounted for 22.5% and 28.6%, premenopausal women accounted for 2.43%, accounting for 97.57% of postmenopausal women. Conclusion Knee osteoarthritis multiple in the elderly, women, overweight and obesity, physical activity intensity and so can be considered as the knee osteoarthritis pathogenesis risk factors, weight control and moderate activity is beneficial to control and alleviate the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis of the knee. |
