Objective: To investigate the effect of TII (Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook f.) on the acute rejection model of orthotopic liver transplantation in rat .Methods: To establish an acute rejection model of Wistar to SD rat liver transplantation. The model was established by modified Kamada two cuff technique . The transplanted rats were randomly divided into two groups: control group and the TII group, observe the liver function, the acute rejection , conjunctival congestion and the survival time of the rat. Results: TII could decrease conjunctival congestion of the TII group rat. At the 7th day,the liver function of Tll group was decreased, the acute rejection of TII group was lower than the control group. the survival time of the transplanted rats was prolonged. Conclusion: The TII can prolong the survival time of the transplanted rats and decrease the degree of acute rejection in transplanted rat. An acute rejection experimental model of Wistar to SD rat liver transplantation can be stably established.
