The Study Of Compliance Behavior And Nursing Intervention In Patients With Glaucoma

Glaucoma is an ocular disease which is caused by the pathological hypertension of eyes; it will lead to the optic atrophy the defects of visual field and the decrease of visual acuity even blind. The consequence of it is especially serious. It is the first major ocular diseases that can cause blind in the world. With the development of medical science and the progress of science , new techniques and therapeutics appear constantly to cure glaucoma. In order to achieve a good remedial effect, it demands the patients to own a correct compliance behavior. Or it will affect the quality of patients lives。Objective:This research mainly studied the nursing intervention to glaucoma patients by glaucoma club ,To research its influence on patients'compliance behavior ,quality of life ,tension ,visual field and HRT-Ⅲ.It is helpful to explore a new thought to improve patients'compliance behavior, postpone the development of the damage of visual function .Thereby ,patients'quality of lives become better, the rate of blind becomes lower.Methods:This research selects the patients at the department of glaucoma in NO.2 hospital of Jilin university between 2010.03 and 2010.09.Regard ninety members of glaucoma club as a intervention group, other eighty-four members who didn't join in as contrastive group .Both intervention group and contrastive group are accepted the regular health education in hospital .Except the regular health education, the intervention group will take part in the glaucoma club's activities to receive a systematic nursing intervention. The contents conclude cognition intervention ,behavior intervention, psychological intervention and relation intervention .To research the compliance behavior and the quality of life between these two glaucoma patients group .Besides the persistence of taking medicine the reexamine on time ,the avoidance from induced factors ,the obstruct of mind these four regular aspects ,we conducted a deeper research about the following two aspects .On the one hand ,glaucoma patients'relations who have heredity factors volunteered for seeing a doctor .In this way the disease can be found ,diagnosed and treated in the early time .It can decrease the morbidity of glaucoma root .On the other hand ,patients could examine themselves ,find the problems and see a doctor timely .It is helpful to decrease the harmlessness of disease and improve the quality of life .We analyses the patients'tension, visual field and HRT about the estimate of effect .Results:From the results we can see that: 1. After they leave hospital half year time , intervention group has a better knowledge in glaucoma elementary knowledge than contrastive group . The difference is of importance on statistics (P<0.05) . 2. intervention group is obviously better than contrastive group in the avoidance from induced factors, the obstructer of mind; examine themselves and their relations who have heredity factors volunteered for seeing a doctor, the difference is of importance on statistics(P<0.05),except that, they are almost the same.3.The rate of intervention group's compliance behavior evidently improve ,the difference is of importance on statistics(P<0.05).4.The chart to show the quality of the damage of visual lives indicate that on society activities, mind, and the total score of quality of lives these four respects, intervention group is higher than contrastive group, the difference is of importance on statistics(P<0.05),there is little difference between others.5. Intervention group's tension is lower than contrastive group ,the difference is of importance on statistics(P<0.05).The difference of PSD is of importance on statistics(P<0.05), The difference of MD is little.6.By comparing the relative parameters of these two groups'HRT-Ⅲ, the difference of C/D AR and mRNFLT is of importance on statistics(P<0.05), except that, they are almost the same.Conclusion:1. Patients will improve their compliance behavior efficiently by joining in the glaucoma club. 2. A better compliance behavior will amend the level of their lives. 3. Glaucoma club can help patients avoid the induced factors, reduce negative moods, and change their bad habit of life. 4. It is better to draw the relationship of patients and nurses. 5. The nursing interfered form of glaucoma club will relieve the pathologic development of visual acuity which based on the operative and medicated therapy. It will also assist the treatment and the better turn of the patients. 6. It is worthy of being popularized this kind of club.
