Objective:To investigate the sequence of whole body diffusion weighted imaging of non-small cell lung cancer application. Methods:From August 2009 to February 2011 Qianfoshan Hospital in Shandong Province, Department of Radiology, received the body diffusion-weighted imaging sequence and confirmed by surgery or biopsy,52 patients with non-small cell lung cancer patients were studied. First, the whole body diffusion weighted imaging, respectively, the observed sequence of positive lesions and other imaging studies observed in the positive lesions were compared with pathological results, Then the staging of the whole body diffusion weighted imaging sequences and staging other imaging were compared; followed by selection in 52 patients suspected of bone metastases in patients with signs of pain①grouped according to whether patients, analysis of non-small cell lung cancer bone metastasis and pain Relationship;②by histological type, metastasis to group sites, analysis of non-small cell lung cancer bone metastases distribution and pathological type; Finally, the whole body diffusion weighted imaging of lymph nodes observed in metastatic lymph nodes by pathology were divided into normal lymph nodes and three false-positive lymph nodes, ADC values were measured and compared pairwise. By the United States, GE 1.5 T HD MRI system includes a calibration sequence, and from head to foot in paragraph 6, the use of diffusion-weighted short inversion time, echo planar imaging, the 3D-MIP processing. The final images by 3 more than 5 years of clinical experience in radiology physician diagnosis of double-blind method. Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences software (Statistical package for the social sciences, SPSS) 16.0 statistical software for analysis, P value less than 0.01, there are significant differences.Results:52 patients with non-small cell lung cancer patients,286 lesions were found by WB-DWI sequence. Consistent with T, N, M staging, the number of lesions were 59,83,144 months; final pathology confirmed number of 224 lesions; other Imaging of 301 lesions were found, consistent with T, N, M stging, the number of lesions were 97,112,92 months, the final number of 243 lesions were diagnosed at different stages of the lesions between the two there are differences in the number of P =0.006 (P<0.01). WB-DWI sequence of T, N, M staging accuracy was 59.62%, 55.77%,86.53%; CT and/or MRI and other imaging studies, T, N, M staging accuracy was 86.54%,84.62% 63.64%, and both were significantly different; TNM staging accuracy was 55.77%,63.46%, the difference was not statistically significant, However, spiral chest CT and whole body imaging with diffusion-weighted sequence accuracy of 90.38% after the final stage, with a separate body diffusion-weighted imaging sequences, and other imaging significantly improved accuracy compared, the difference was statistically significant P=0.021, P=0.03 ((P<0.01). ADC values of three groups of measurement data show that the lymph nodes, metastatic lymph nodes and normal lymph nodes and the false-positive lymph nodes obvious difference between the ADC values (F=71.476). Diameter>10mm and the diameter of false-positive lymph nodes≤10mm false-positive lymph nodes significantly different ADC values.52 patients with non-small cell lung cancer patients found 40 cases of bone metastasis detection rate was 76.92%, sensitivity was 97.5%, specificity 92.31%, which transfers pain group was 85.29%; no pain group was 61.11%. The total number of bone metastatic adenocarcinoma accounted for 67.77%, squamous cell carcinoma was 22.31%. Non-small cell lung zone distribution of bone metastases highest 38.84% spinal, chest,25.62%,20.66% pelvis, skull, limbs,14.05% and 0.83%.Conclusion:Whole body diffusion weighted imaging sequences can be detected in vivo diffusion, the right for non-small cell lung cancer stage, lymph node and bone metastases to determine the nature of the diagnosis has important value, is an effective non-invasive imaging methods.
