The Application Research Of Industrial Engineering Methodology In The Outpatient System Of D Hospital

After joining the WTO, many foreign hospitals have entered the Chinese medical service market, which striked against the Chinese state-owned hospitals. At the same time, information technology is developing at a fast speed , which is changing the structure of medical service market. State-owned hospitals are facing the great challenges that have not met before . In order to beat the opponents , the hospitals have to enhance their competition strength , so the hospital must examine closely themselves from all aspects . which contain the areas of quality control, application of MIS , BPR and facility layout . Many hospitals have brought in IE to reduce the cost, improve the quality and efficiency.The paper chooses the outpatient department of D hospital as the research object, which regard the patients as the center. The aim of the hospital is to reduce the cost, ensure the quality , and improve the efficiency . The hospital has been always bringing in the technology of treatment and project, which covers the areas of management, service and treatment . As the window of the hospitals, the out-patient department is important , and it is always facing the patients directly . To improve the service quality, the hospital has brought in the technology of IE to the out-patient department.The method to study the topic is investigating and looking into the relative papers . After collecting the information of the hospital, three methods have been found to use widespread , which are MIS , BPR . During the research, we have analyzed the links in which the IE is used , and propose the measures.At first , the out-patient department is defined as a system , we analyze the result of the application of IE , which is to explore a research way that has mix the knowledge o and the technology of IE , so that the way is to apply in more areas.Through the research, the paper can make a conclusion that the application of IE has improved the efficiency, quality and satisfaction of the patients. At the same time, the patients have increasd dramatically . In a word, the application of IE in the out-patient department has brought many comprehensive benefits to itself.
