[Objective]1. To investigate sanitary conditions of drinking water in rural area, which will provide information for improving management level of drinking water sanitary in rural area.2. Study the relation of heavy metal content and industry distribution.3. Analyze trace element content and its distribution characteristic.4. Study the relation of beneficial element and longevity.[Methods]1. Investigate the headwater type, methods of disposal, methods of disinfection of drinking water in rural area of Ju County.2. Thirty sites were selected as monitoring sites. Drinking water were sampled for detection during low water period and high water period.3. Lead, Mercucy, Chromium, Cadmium were detected in drinking water and data were analyzed. Investigate heavy metal content and industry distribution, analyze their relation.4. Analyze minor element content and its distribution characteristic. Make clear the characteristic of geography, environment, industry type, climate and then analyze the relation of trace element and them.5. Characteristic of Selenium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Metasilicic acid were analyzed and compared to those in Shan County. Discuss the effect of beneficial element to longevity.【Results】1. Twenty concentrated water supplies had been built in Ju County, 9supplies have equipped both purification and disinfection equipments. Other 9 supplies have equipped only disinfection equipment, and the other two supplies were only supply water without equipment of purification and disinfection. These twenty concentrated water supplies covered 310000 population.396 minor water supplies in village were built, most were direct water supplies, which covered 300000 population. Dispersed water supplies were used by another 300000 population.2. 200 samples of dringking water in rural area of Ju County were inspected, and 96 samples (48.00%) were eligible. Compare to that toxicologic indexes and trance element indexes were eligible, the unqualified indexes were microorganisms the total viable count and the coliform group.According to Chi-square test, we found that percent of pass during low water period was significantly higher than that during high water period, and the pass-rate of concentrated water supply was significantly higher than that of dispersed water supply. At the same time, the eligible rate of water in rural area was higher than that of bottled water.3. Industry of Ju County were concentrating distributed and there was no large heavy industry. As a result, there was no apparent discharge of heavy metal. After detection, Lead, Mercucy, Chromium, Cadmium were eligible in water samples.4. The detection result indicated that the index of Selenium, Zinc, Copper, Magnesium was similar between different districts. However, Index of manganese was different and exceeding standard.5. There were 36 people above 100 years old,9 were from Liuguanzhuang town,4 were from Chengyang town, and another 23 were from 19 different towns. Index of beneficial element in drinking water of Chengyang town and Liuguanzhuang town was significantly higher than other towns. In drinking water of Liuguanzhuang, index of manganese was higher, index of selenium and metasilicic acid was a little higher, PH was 7.36-8.07.【Conclusion】1. Concentrated water supplies had been built in recent years, which covered almost 2/3 population. However, the quality was not good, most of which did not have equipments of purification and disinfection. Project about water improvement in high fluorine area had been done and thousands of people benefit from it.2. Microbial contamination was main sanitary questions in drinking water in rural area. This is related to headwater pollution and lack of purification and disinfection equipments.3. Index of heavy metal in drinking water in rural area of Ju County was low, which indicated that there was no apparent industry pollution.4. The average life of people from Liuguanzhuang town and Chengyang town was higher, people above 100 years old were concentrating distribution. Characteristic of drinking water in that district is:index of manganese was higher, index of selenium and metasilicic acid was a little higher, PH was alkalescence. All these were similar to Shan County, we concluded that longevity was related to drinking water.[Innovative points]1. The first time of analyzing distribution of heavy metal content through detecting drinking water of rural area in Ju county and its relation with Ju county's industry distribution. 2. The first time of detecting microelements content in drinking water of rural area in Ju county and analyzing its distribution characteristic.3. The first time of comparison of various contents of rural drinking water with longevity area, further analyzed the relation between sanitary characteristics of drinking water and longevity by connected with distribution of longevity people in Ju county.
