| Objective:Compare and analyze the clinic effect between the artificial thigh bone replacement and the total hip replacement to cure senile fracture of femoral neck. Explore the Best surgical method to cure the senile patients with fracture of the femoral neck between 65-75 years old. Methods:Look back and investigate sixty-six cases between 65 to 75 years old which are all about senile fracture of femoral neck from January 2004 to September 2005 of orthopaedics section of Changzhou TCM hospital. We divide these patients into two groups, group A is in use of artificial thigh bone replacement, group B is in use of total hip replacement. We draw a contrast analysis to the cure effect of the two groups from hospitalizing time, surgery time, surgery exsanguine amount, flow drawing amount, foretime after-surgery complication, aftertime after-surgery complication and an observation of after-surgery hip function. Results:As a follow-up visit to the patients from the two groups for three years to five years, have an average of 46 months. group A and group B do not differ from hospitalizing time, foretime after-surgery complication in a sense of statistics(P>0.05); but they do differ in a sense of statistics from surgery time, surgery exsanguine amount, flow drawing amount, foretime after-surgery complication, aftertime after-surgery complication and after-surgery hip function(P<0.05).Conclusion:The surgery time of an artificial thigh bone replacement is short relatively, the surgery exsanguine amount reduces, which is adaptable to patients who have got a comparatively worse physical situation and a short anticipated natural life. The complication of total hip replacement arises at a lower rate, which can help the recovery of the function of hip. It could be applied to any patients who can afford surgery physically and regarded as a preferred method to deal with senile fracture of the femoral neck. |
