Objective:Through application of supplement qi and activate blood circulation, resolving phlegm and blood stasis methods, observe the clinical curative effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction curing the left heart relevant pulmonary hypertension patients. And verify its clinical feasibility in treating qi deficiency to blood stasis type patients. In addition, investigate the TCM differentiation ideas and treatments for curing the left heart relevant pulmonary hypertension and excavate new ideas and methods of the TCM therapy for left heart relevant pulmonary hypertension. Methods:Select 60 patients complied with standards and divide them into treatment group and control group randomly with thirty patients respectively. Give the treatment group conventional western medicine therapy and the plus-minus of Buyang Huanwu Decoction, decocting and taking a dose one day. Give the control group conventional western medicine treatment. Treat both groups 4 weeks as a period of treatment and three periods continuous. After 12 weeks of treatment, determine their clinical curative effect by six minutes walking experiments and dynamic echocardiography changes. Results:The total TCM syndromes effective rate of the treatment is 90.0% and the control group 66.7%, the treatment group was better than control group ( R treatment< R contrast). Meanwhile it is better improved in the treatment group about the clinical symptoms,six minutes walking experiment and dynamic echocardiography. Conclusion:Though using Buyang Huanwu Decoction which has the application of supplement qi and activate blood circulation, resolving phlegm and blood stasis, the patients not only can reduce the clinical symptoms but also increase the patient's exercise tolerance and reduce pulmonary artery systolic blood pressure. It is also improved the prognosis and therapy in left heart relevant pulmonary hypertension.
